1st FAIRagro Community Summit

One of FAIRagro’s most important concerns is direct communication and interaction with our community, which is spread across many disciplines, institutions and organizations. In this way, we understand the respective requirements for optimal research data management, address these and communicate our services, events and the opportunities to participate in FAIRagro.

In order to bring the agrosystems community and related disciplines together and create opportunities for exchange and networking, we are organizing the first Community Summit in the summer in addition to the diverse activities already taking place.

The event will take place on Monday, 17.6.2024 in the Atrium of the Leibniz Association in Berlin-Mitte (Chausseestrasse 111 in 10115 Berlin). The event is expected to start between 12 and 1 p.m. and end around 6 p.m. – you can expect a varied and exciting program.

These sessions are planned – more information will follow shortly:

The FAIRagro Helpdesk (DSSC) – The direct link to our community’s everyday needs

Analysing and improving data quality by an interactive interface for quality metrics

(Meta)data standards for agricultural research data management and approaches towards evaluation – an overview

FAIRagro Use Case – Show case FAIR development in practice

An infrastructure to make reproducible workflows achievable for everyone: The SciWIn concept

FAIRagro Middleware – A comprehensive solution for Interoperability within Agronomy and NFDI

On the following day, Tuesday, 18.6.2024, we are planning four additional side events for further consolidation and supplementation. The side events will also take place on the premises of the Leibniz Association.

We are preparing these four side events – more information will follow shortly:

Reflecting on current FAIRagro Use Cases and Introducing the 2024 Use Case Call

Rechtliche und ethische Stolpersteine in der Agrosystemforschung (in German)

Connecting (RDM) Helpdesks and Data Stewards across institutions

FAIRagro as part of the international agricultural RDM community (after invitation only)
