Is legal uncertainty a reason for the hoarding of data treasures?
In this survey, we would like to find out more about the experiences, expectations, concerns and wishes regarding the publication and re-use of research data in the field of agricultural sciences and agricultural research.
The responsible handling, accessibility and re-use of research data has great potential to make a significant contribution to tackling societal challenges such as climate change, the biodiversity crisis and food security. In practice, however, there are many concerns, particularly with regard to legal issues and the handling of licences.
As FAIRagro, we want to address these challenges and develop resources, services and training to contribute to the legally compliant, responsible and fair handling of research data in agricultural research, among other things.
The survey is of course anonymous and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Please share the link with other interested parties in the community. We will of course inform you about the results here.
