Brand new event in the series: “Don’t panic! A Survival Guide for Law and Ethics in Research”
Two exciting workshops from FAIRagro, NFDI4 Biodiversity and NFDI4Earth have already taken place – the places were sought after and the events were instructive and inspiring for all researchers in environmental and agricultural research.
On April 8, 9 and 10, “Data protection on a silver platter” was all about the GDPR (DSGVO in german). The associated materials – training documents as well as video documetations – have been published – you can download them from Publisso.
On May 7, “Nagoya | Beyond Borders: Genetic Resources & Benefit-Sharing” was all about the “Nagoya Protocol “Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity”.

What’s next?
We are currently preparing the next workshop – the title: “The license to research: Who owns research data and what am I allowed to do with it?
The workshop will deal with the handling of copyright and licenses as well as with the re-use of research data – and with the question of what all this has to do with “good scientific practice”.
Save the date: 11, 12 and 13.11.2025 from 10 am to 12 pm – online.
You can look forward to three exciting mornings with practical case studies, interactive exercises and inspiring insights.
More information will be available on these pages shortly. We look forward to seeing you!
