The OSIRIS consortium has – for the first time worldwide – taken on the challenge of making the large national collections of natural, technical and cultural history accessible as a comprehensive national infrastructure, making them globally accessible, strategically developing them in their entirety and preserving them as the heritage of mankind.
17 institutions with large collections pool expertise, knowledge and resources and form the core of a scalable and open information and research infrastructure.
FAIRagro is also on board – as one of six consortia within the NFDI – and is contributing its expertise in terms of a scalable and open information and research infrastructure to this exciting project.
