At the International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics (https://www.imbio.de/ib2024) at the University of Zurich, Jorge Garcia-Brizuela from FAIRAgro partner IPK presented the recently published paper on FAIRagro middleware to a panel of interdisciplinary international bioinformaticians on behalf of the FAIRagro collaborators. The discussion centred on the FAIRagro middleware as a central access point for the federation of agricultural data repositories. In addition, scenarios and use cases were presented, such as the provision of FAIR Digital Objects for individual data analysis pipelines, workflow systems, semantically linked data or artificial intelligence applications.
