“FAIRagro gives us new impulse”

NFDI-Director Prof. York Sure-Vetter is talking in the latest “IPK-Journal” about FAIRagro, the goals of the consortium and the benefits for the partners.

In the current “IPK-Journal”, published by the Leibniz-Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research, NFDI-Director Prof. York Sure-Vetter is talking in an extensive interview about the continuously growing importance of data for science, the goals and tasks of NFDI (National Research Data Infrastructure Germany)  and the challenges for FAIRagro. Another article (in the same issue) describes FAIRagro’s role as one of consortia within NFDI and Matthias Lange, scientist at IPK and lead of FAIRagro Task Area 4 “Infrastructure Services”, as well as Jochen Reif, Head of Departmet Breeding Research and Martina Brockmeier, president of the Leibniz Association, describe chances and goals of FAIRagro.
