On September 17, the FAIRagro workshop “Organization of Data and Files” took place at the Deutsche Biomasseforschungszentrum (DBFZ) in Leipzig. A total of 16 participants from both the DBFZ and various Leipzig government agencies engaged in lively discussions with Elena Ray Mazón and Wahib Sahwan from the FAIRagro DSSC (Data Steward Service Center) – the challenge was to take into account the different levels of knowledge among the participants and a wide range of wishes as to which of the numerous facets of the workshop topic should be the focus of attention on that day.
Both participants and speakers gained many new insights—and confirmation that the path toward FAIR research data management is exactly the right one. The DBFZ is a “gemeinnützige GmbH” and a participant in the FAIRagro consortium.
