Workshop at DigAgro 2025 in Tulln an der Donau

DigAgro 2025, which took place from December 1 to 2, 2025, in Tulln an der Donau (Austria), is a newly launched international conference that aims to bring together various aspects of digitalization in agroecology and plant production. The event was organized by the Austrian Institue for Techology und „d4agrotech”, the topics included: technology for smart farming, digital tools for plant phenotyping, digital innovations in agroecology,
multi-omics integration, modeling and prediction for microbiome research.

The conference was atteted by ca. 50 to 60 researchers, practitioners, and innovators from various disciplines who share a common interest in the digital future of sustainable agriculture.

One of the highlights was a well-attended FAIRagro workshop on “FAIR research data and digital management systems for agricultural systems research,” hosted by training coordinator Sophie Boße and Elena Rey Mazón from our FAIRagro DSSC / Helpdesk.

In addition, there were several sessions on both days with presentations, keynotes, round tables, and poster sessions. An exciting kick-off event — we’d love to come back.
