We are delighted to welcome de.NBI as a new associate partner to the FAIRagro consortium: de.NBI is a national, academic, and non-profit research infrastructure that was launched in 2015 as a joint project of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The network offers researchers in the life sciences and biomedicine in Germany and Europe a wide range of bioinformatics services and comprehensive computing resources. de.NBI offers training events, courses, and summer schools on tools, standards, data management, and workflows. In addition, de.NBI provides extensive computing resources to help researchers analyze and visualize their data more effectively.
The partnership focuses on the preparation and implementation of joint training sessions as well as collaboration in the area of technical infrastructure.
Helena Schnitzer (Forschungszentrum Jülich) is Deputy Training Coordinator at de.NBI and is delighted: “In my view, the partnership offers great potential because it combines training, research data management, and technical infrastructure. The combination of capacity building and offerings such as the de.NBI Cloud can help researchers apply FAIR principles in their daily work and provide concrete tools for practical implementation.”
Looking forward to a fruitful collaboration!
