The Search Hub is FAIRagro’s central portal for searching for agrosystem-related datasets and research data repositories. All information is compiled from established sources and made searchable here. The goal is to promote the implementation of the FAIR principles in the field of agricultural research.
Agrosystem datasets can be searched for based on their metadata. All datasets originate from affiliated research data infrastructures (RDIs) such as BonaRes, OpenAgrar, and e!DAL. Their metadata is captured by the FAIRagro middleware and harmonized into a standardized metadata schema. The FAIRagro Search Hub offers various search and filter functions, e.g., based on plant species or soil types. Additional options are currently under development.
The search for trusted research data repositories in the field of agrosystem sciences is based on metadata sourced from re3data.org, a leading directory for research data repositories. This ensures that only reliable and relevant sources are included in the Search Hub.
In this video, Julian Schneider (ZB MED and FAIRagro TA4 explains what the Search Hub is all about and why it is an excellent source of datasets of agrosystem research:

As the platform is being developed for the community, it must meet the needs and requirements of the community. To ensure this, we are working closely with domain experts within the FAIRagro project, especially the FAIRagro Use Cases, who represent the community of interest. However, we also invite everyone else to suggest features, ideas, or requirements and report bugs to the development team. You can do this by using the green feedback box on the right side of the Search Hub screen.
