This winter semester, the HEF Academy (Hans Eisenmann Forum for Agricultural Sciences at the Technical University of Munich) has chosen “Digital Growth: Data in Agriculture and Research” as its focus topic: Digital data is increasingly shaping how agriculture is practiced and agricultural research is conducted. A four-part online lecture series will explore why data plays a key role in sustainable, efficient, and resilient agricultural and food systems—and how modern infrastructures, technologies, and applications can harness this potential.

The first lecture in this series will be given by FAIRagro colleagues and will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.:
“FAIRagro – FAIR research data management for agrosystem research”
Our consortium will be presented by Prof. Dr. Frank Ewert (ZALF), Dr. Carsten Hoffmann (ZALF), and Dr. Anne Sennhenn (ATB).
We look forward to an exciting event.
