You want to offer your own training courses on Research Data Management (RDM) for agricultural researchers but aren’t sure how? We have just the thing for you: in addition to the numerous training courses we offer for the community, we now provide modular training materials as OER (Open Educational Resources).
These newly published materials break down relevant RDM topics into small, reusable learning units that can be flexibly combined into customized training sessions. Based on a didactic structure that incorporates both content delivery and interaction, and published as an Open Educational Resource (OER), the material enables sustainable reuse and supports the adoption of FAIR data practices.
This enables researchers and multipliers—such as FDM experts, data stewards, or instructors—to flexibly adapt their training offerings to different target groups, timeframes, and levels of knowledge, and to offer tailored FDM training with minimal effort—thereby contributing to a cultural shift toward FAIR and open FDM.
The material is on Zenodo and “ready to use”—just give it a try.
We welcome your feedback.
