Love Data Week (LDW) is an international week of action focusing on research data and research data management. Under the motto “Where’s the Data?”, Love Data Week 2026 will be celebrated worldwide from February 9 to 13 with numerous events – and FAIRagro will of course be there: Under the title “FAIRifying data & code in the environmental sciences,” our colleagues Lea Sophie Singson, Paul Peschel, and Marcus Schmidt, together with Kristin Meier from ZALF, will offer a practical and entertaining workshop on February 13 at 11 a.m.: How does a local script file become FAIR research code? From initial prototyping/cowboy coding to DOI, so that the code can not only be reused in compliance with licensing and copyright laws, but also receives scientific credits. All of this will be explained step by step – online. Please register here and feel free to spread the word. We look forward to your participation! More information about Love Data Week 2026 is available from our colleagues at forschungsdaten.info, information about the events in the Berlin / Brandenburg region is on this site.
