At the International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics (IB Symposium 2025), hosted by FAIRagro Co-applicant IPK Gatersleben, FAIRagro presented strategies for community engagement and FAIR service solutions alongside international and national partners.

Over three days of lectures, flash talks, round tables, and poster sessions, FAIRagro service and community experts engaged in dialogue with representatives of leading RDM initiatives such as EMBL, USDA, ELIXIR, and German NFDI consortia (BioImage, DataPLANT, NFDI4Biodiversity).
The discussions centred on developing a shared understanding of research data services, with particular attention to data stewardship, FAIR data infrastructures, data mobilization, and strategies for building sustainable services that effectively support the researchers journey.

The International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics is an event that takes place worldwide—this year (following 2013) marks the second time that IPK Gatersleben has hosted the event.
