In mid-April, representatives of six NFDI consortia—FAIRagro, DataPLANT, NFDI4Bioimage, NFDI4Biodiversity, NFDI4Objects, and NFDI4Microbiota—met in Berlin at the Julius Kühn Institute to advance the plans and prospects for the newly launched Biodata Interest Group. The focus was on synergies between the numerous services within the consortia, joint training concepts, developing a dedicated roadmap, and defining and harmonizing common data types and data modalities in the life sciences—the workshop report is now available on Zenodo—enjoy reading it!
